Forgiveness is not an occasional act, it is a constant attitude. ~ Martin Luther King Jr.
Charity begins at home and forgiveness begins with the self. It is only when you learn to forgive yourself that you can learn to forgive others. When you find a way to forgive that which you consider unforgivable in yourself, you’ll find a way to forgive that which you consider unforgivable in others. Forgiveness cannot be selective. You cannot choose to forgive some and to not forgive others. It doesn’t work that way. Forgiveness is a state of consciousness. It is a way of being that is all-embracing. You cannot practice it by excluding anyone or anything, including yourself, from it.
