Life is managed, not cured. Jacquie Somerville

I just love this quote. It simply put what’s been rolling around in my mind for the last few weeks into one short sentence.

For a long time now I have been trying to answer the question, “When will I be healed?” by explaining that no one is really “healed” – we are wounded and we walk a journey to healing. In a sense, it doesn’t really make much of a difference what wounded us – it’s the act of actively seeking healing that changes and moulds us.

We look at our health, mental, physical and spiritual and embark on a voyage of discovery that not only heals but changes our way of thinking and living to bring us peace and joy.

Still we don’t cure the ills of the world, we don’t eradicate pain, fear, tragedy or evil (if you will). We…
