Love is Love 


Today the Supreme Court of the United States decided that the Constitution guarantees a right to same-sex marriage. It did not take long before my newsfeed on Facebook was flooded with news reports from ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CNN announcing the decision. It also did not take long before I saw the many Christian friends and family Members on my friend’s list stating their displeasure with the decision, oftentimes, quoting or referencing the Bible and the “Law of God” to say that same-sex marriage is wrong.

Two very important points I must make. First, I do not know the challenges that those in the LGBTQ community face on a daily basis.   1. thank you for re-blogging this. I wrote this with sincerity and from my heart. People oftentimes pick others apart and judge them for things they have no control over. They refuse to put themselves in someone else’s shoes.
